Do you have a cancellation policy?

It is understood and agreed that Belle Ame Photography may not be able to reschedule if there is not an advanced notice and the original booking fee is forfeited. (As I do have children of my own I do understand the nature of illness, and that life does happen. I try to be flexible.)
*If someone does become ill or there are extenuating circumstances, please call or text me at 806.241.6043 as soon as possible to request a reschedule. Your booking fee will be transferred to the new date. I maintain the right to reschedule if needed due to inclement weather, illness, emergency, etc. and your retainer fee will be transferred to a new date.
In the event of an act of God (fire, wind, rain) preventing the original scheduled appointment occurring, your deposit will be transferred to a new date.
In the event of equipment failure or illness on my part before/during or after the session which keeps me from taking photos, editing images, or delivering finished images, your deposit will be transferred to a new date or a re-shoot will be offered at no additional cost.
No-Shows- If you are more than 15- minutes late or do not show up at all, you will be billed for the total session fee, minus your deposit/fees already paid. Please be courteous and contact me if something occurs in a timely manner.
Re-shoots are granted only at my discretion, and are at the sole expense of the client.

When is a good time to book newborns?

It is good to book your newborn sessions around your 3rd month of pregnancy. If you get caught up in life like many of us do you can book immediately after birth but expect there to be at least a week wait for a session.

When can a doula be booked?

Ideally you can book as soon as you find out you are pregnant. You can however book up to a week before your birth.

What is the average length of a newborn session?

My newborn sessions are baby led. So if a baby needs to be fed, changed or held for a few minutes to be reassured a session can take up to 4 hours.

How long is the typical wait?

In order to perfect the images from your session the average turn around is anywhere from 1-2 weeks. During the busy season they can take up to 3 weeks. All sessions are edited in the order in which they are taken.
